I am floating in a torrent sea that beats my body along with the waves.
My hands outstretch, move independently from my mind.
Reaching away to help me breath
Aiming for the lights of the world burning above me.
Those dancing lights keep me watching as my hands grasp to catch a flame but pass through the smoke.
Even though this burns me, they go reaching for more.
The sea pulls me along away from the searing heat.
Until I wash up ashore and left to search
for the world that does not exist anymore.
