What I have learned about the beauty of anger is that it teaches us so much about what we are really feeling. A part of you feels sad, hurt, or betrayed. The other part of you gets louder and feels angry that you feel that way, and then that part of you gets angry at the object which sparked that feeling in the first place. And the angry voice is loud and powerful. “HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME FEEL THIS WAY?!” It screams within your body and warns you that it needs to blow off steam.
It is the angry voice that speaks the most about true feelings. It is the angry voice that can bring attention to what needs to be changed. Once that voice is out, it can be the voice that seeks change.
