This being the final piece from my 30-days collection, I wanted to highlight the beauty of the gradients that I used for my backgrounds. Reflecting on the project as a whole, the colors of the gradient were the same colors I used to paint myself. I began reflecting the colors and wanted this piece to represent how the entire series is a representation of who I am through stories and images.
The vibrating colors of this piece is sure to capture the attention of anyone who walks through your door. And you get to have a piece of me there with you, who wouldn't want that right?!

I realized that looking at these paintings was like looking into a mirror. I was allowing the colorful mirror to shine down upon me and wash the colors over me. I saw new parts of myself reflected back at me, and I wasn’t afraid of them. I wasn’t hiding from them. I was embracing them and enjoying them. I saw myself in the colors of the paint and the unique images I created; I saw all that I related to, all that I struggled with.
